The Whisker Lounge Cat Research & Therapy Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization is currently home to 25 resident cats who are happy to meet our guests and show them how to relax! We have been recruiting the coolest cats in Greenville, SC since we opened as Organic Cat Cafe & Music Lounge in 2017. More than 200 cats were adopted to good homes but 22 of them are now our most important furry employees.

Since we closed the business in 2020, we have been working to move to Atlanta, GA and we finally found our new location in downtown, happy to be part of Underground Atlanta.

Our mission is to educate cat owners and help find feline behavior solutions that reduce surrender and in the worst case euthanasia. Help keep cats in their owners’ home as valued companion for life. Furthermore we aim to educate people about the beneficial aspect of companion animals and demonstrate the mutual emotional, psychological and physical benefits of the human-animal bond.
